A video of a doctor removing huge maggots from a woman’s vagina went viral on the internet yesterday. The woman was infected after child birth resulting from negligence by the doctors at the hospital she was delivered of her baby.
A source, Kayla Chanai, reported that the woman gave birth in a government hospital in India and unfortunately, the gauze used to stop bleeding after delivery was forgotten inside her body. The swab caused an infection in the body of the new mom: 22yrs of age. A few days after she gave birth, she noticed maggots crawling down her legs. She was quickly rushed to the hospital by her husband. When she got to the hospital, she got examined by a doctor who found the swab in her.The doctor was able to remove the swab. He also removed the maggots, and gave the woman other necessary treatment. In the end the woman is doing well again. A 14-year old Nigerian boy, who was abducted and forced to fight as a soldier for insurgent group, Boko Haram has come out to confess to innumerable atrocities committed by the sect members after he was able to escape from their captivity. The teenager, simply identified as Alaji, who spoke to Al-Jazeera confessed to the inhumane treatment meted out to captives and the total disregard for human lives in the camps of the terrorists. Alaji revealed that on one occasion the leader of the sect shot two of his commanders after they saw defeat at the hand of Nigerian troops in Gamboru area of Borno State. His words: “The biggest loss by Boko Haram I witnessed was in Gamboru in the hands of the military; the leader was so furious that he shot and killed two commanders right before us. “The most frightening battle was the attack on Baga, when the town was attacked. Initially, it was difficult to break through. “The residents came after us. We retreated but we were able to encircle the base of the multinational task force; there we seized equipment and ammunition like tanks, motors and shell.” |
