This song is very self explanatory; "sweep, sweep away the wounds of my past. everything seems beautiful and light, it's life" As most if not all of us know that life isn't easy. No matter what anyone says to you NEVER GIVE UP!! on your dreams. It is indeed a cliché but, it is a cliché for a reason. Not everyone has the same destiny , there aren't two of you. People want you to be a certain way because they have a set "success", there's only one way to succeed- that is definitely FALSE!! Be your own self, stay true to you.

South Africa has always been known for their choirs. All so powerful and soulful. Every note sang by every single member in this choir was flawless and also breath-taking - it sings to not just you but your soul as well. This choir participating in the South African tv series of clash of choirs, is inviting all Africans to SING and also come back HOME.
Africans in the diaspora will you come back home?
This video definitely demonstrates how Cameroonian music is rising. Locko's voice is impeccably soothing - he is an Afro-R&B singer. In this song, Locko didn't just sing in just French or just English; he embraced the bilingualism of the country as well.
Yemi Alade Nigerian songstress, dropped another awesome single and much like other times she sang it in another language other than English and her mother tongue. This time, she sung it in Swahili and managed to make sound majestic. Way to bring the continent together through music. Hopefully more African artists will follow her lead. Let's strive for a united Africa, #unitedWeStand #AfricanPower.
Yemi Alade as many of you know is a Nigerian singer. Many people know her because of her hit song, Johnny. The charming young lady is full of talent and inspiration as you can see in the above video. In this enchanting song, Yemi sings in Igbo and she speaks of the different situations in life. She elaborates on how one should be content with thankful for the little or many that they have.
These dancers are with every beat in the song, it is extraordinary. It looks like they can rhythmically dance in their sleep! Quite impressive. Hope you enjoy watching this and don't forget to comment, comments are a joy to read. thank you!

Travelling all the way to the East, we have a song called Nerea. A collaboration between Kenyans, Sauti sol, Amos and Josh. This song in away is meant for kids; it is written in Swahili and it talks about wishing to become like great people who emerged out of Africa and made Africa proud. This song has a tremendous message. Enjoy and be sure to leave a comment about what you think of it!
In the video above is a Kenyan artist that goes by the name of Sauti Sol. He is an artist who won best African act 2014 at the MTV Europe awards. This video is primarily about what goes on in a pre-wedding ceremony Here is a remix of Sura Yako ft Nigeria's Iyanya. Can you believe that this man in front of your screen is blind? such a genius. Cobhams Asuquo is a multi- talented human being: song producer, song writer, singer, instrumentalist, you name it. "Ordinary people" is touchy song. talks about what a lot if not all of us go through. I have to admit this song made me cry. Peter Jericho is a U.S based Cameroonian singer. His voice is a very soothing. This song definitely has happy vibes as you can see. Remember nothing can break/ bring you down only if you don't let it.
